We Believe

Every human being has sinned!

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

God so loved man that he came in the flesh and sacrificed his life to save man!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Jesus is the Everlasting Father

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

We are delivered from sin by obedience to the gospel

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.” (Romans 6:17)

Through Jesus name we are redeemed and our sins are forgiven

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;(Ephesians 1:7)

Jesus is the only name that saves

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Baptism saves us by the resurrection of Jesus

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: (1 Peter 3:21)

Repentance and Baptism in Jesus’ name grants remission of sins

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.(Acts 2:38)

Baptism in Jesus’ name washes away sins

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.(Acts 22:16)

Baptism in Jesus name symbolically buries us with Jesus

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.(Romans 6:4)

The Holy Ghost is given to those that obey God.

"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32)

Receiving the Holy Ghost is evidenced by sight and sound

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.” (Acts 2:33)

Receiving the Holy Ghost confirmed by speaking in other tongues.

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,(Acts 10:45- 46)
